St. Vincent Stamps

Kingstown is the largest city (as well as the capitol) on St. Vincent.

From December 21, 1872 to September 15, 1892, postmarks inscribed "K"ingstown were used.  Both red and black ink usages are known.  The various village post offices also used the "abbreviated" postmarks.

Starting in approx. November 1883, the extended "Kingstown" postmarks were in use as well, mostly until the 1990's.

As a sideline, I am working on a collection of "Kingstown" postmark dates from November 1883 through December 1899.   A list of those postmarks that I have are marked with an "X" in the table below.   I am looking to add others to this collection; as you can see, there exists quite a few potential dates!   Dates marked out in red for days that can not exist). 

I am looking for common stamps (not on covers) that have full strikes showing the month, day & year.  Both code letters "A" and "C" exist on the postmarks (positioned just above the date).   An example of a Kingstown  postmark on the standard 1 penny red issue of 1883:    

St. Vincent used the following date conventions on the postmarks

• A two-letter "MM" abbreviation for months: JA, FE, MR, AP, MY, JU, JY, AU, SP, OC, NO, DE
• Single "D" or two "DD" numbers for the days on the same line
• Years were below are are a two-digit "YY" numbers
